World's leading luxury products group LVMH  owned TAG Heuer - designs, manufactures and markets luxury watches and style accessories and they market Swiss luxury TAG Heuer-branded mobile headphones and sun glasses and produce under license by other companies. It traces its roots to thefoundation of Uhrenmanufaktur Heuer AG by Edouard Heuer in a town called St-Imier, Switzerland. The company was purchased by TAG Group S.A. in 1985 and the Heuer brand became TAG Heuer. Around 1999, Heuer Group sold their group to the French luxury goods company LVMH Moet Hennessy and Louis Vuitton.Tag Heuer is a fortunate member of the Fondation the Haute Horlogerie (FHH), the most elite club in the Swiss watch-making market.

Tag Heuer confirms a bid from LVMH of 1.15 billion (US$739 million),(£452.15 million) reliant upon a transfer of 50.1% of stocks, on 13 September 1999.

Tag Heuer's existing lines include Aqua racer, Formula One, Link, Monaco, Carrera and Grand Carrera. Tag Heuer, in preserving with its image as a luxurious and deluxe brand with an innovative, ground-breaking spirit, has long standing links with the world of Hollywood, Bollywood and sport. Tag Heuer has been the official timekeeper of the Skiing World Championships, three Summer Olympic Games, and the Formula One World Championships. The Tag Heuer team has developed custom made watch for theMcLaren F1 team. The brand has also had a long list of Hollywood and sports ambassadors.

The most recently announced models include the Carrera Caliber 360, the first mechanical wrist chronograph to display time and measure to 1/100 of a second and the Monaco 69, with both a traditional mechanical movement and digital chronograph accurate to a millisecond, with a depending on mechanism allowing wearers to flick the watch between its two separate dials.

The lead designer for TAG Heuer since 2004 is London based Christopher Behling, a partnership which has resulted in one of the brand's most eminent, celebrated pieces the Mikrogirder 1/2000th, including the world's fastest chronograph launched in 2012.
